Nancy Glazier

Nancy could be of my favorite Wildlife Artist.  We have had a few of her works in my home ever since I was a kid.  They has always been a constant inspiration everyday I walk past them posted up around the house.  What is very cool about the pieces we have is they remind me perfectly of where I came from in Montana.  Its like I know exactly where each scene had been painted.

Her collection can be found here: Nancy Glazier

Alex Louisa

Alex is a collector.  She inspired by things within her surrounding that many people would completely ignore.  She has a goal to somehow create a masterpiece with every object she has collected.

"I hope to encourage everyone to take a closer look at their surroundings."- Alex Louisa

She does a great job inspiring people through her works found here: Alex Loisa

Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni

Everyone has heard of Michelangelo.  Between the Statue of David and the Ceiling of the Sistine Chapel all of his works have been inspiring people for over 400 years.  Art has been around for as long as people have walked the earth, and to watch it evolve when you study art history is an inspiration in itself.  To be apart of such an evolution, is something to be proud of.  Working your creative mind to create something new and different will forever be a possibility.

A Collection Of Michelangelo's works can be found here: Michelangelo

Betsy Eby

Betsy has a pretty cool story.  Her experience of moving from one place to another at a young age can be related to so many people.  Moving from the wilderness to city life because her father had to make a move for work.

Her paintings are a good example of evolving art (painting with a blow torch). Her work is commonly influenced by music but each piece has another influence, whether it is natural or civilized.  The forests or the city.  They are all very different but the style

Bryon Wilson Olympic Bronze Medalist

My brother is a constant inspiration with his artwork and his character but he never gives himself enough credit.  Although he does all types of art,  his fish carvings are most notable.  I have never, in my life, seen a fish carved better than my brother's.  His inspiration comes from childhood, we grew up fishing trout in the Pioneer Mountains in Western Montana, living off of the catch.  There are a lot of cool stories behind his carvings, a lot of childhood memories.

Take a look for yourself at his gallery here:  Bryon Wilson Gallery

John Banovich

John Banovich has always been one of my favorite painters especially since we share the same hometown.  I knew of his works way before I started painting. He actually went to High School with my Mother in Butte Montana.  But his success, and his conservation work is very inspirational and his biography is definitly worth a read here: John Banovich

You need to browse his entire website but his limited edition page is my favorite: John Banovich

Teshia Freseman

I will always be proud to be from Montana, and a big reason is the beauty of the outdoors and the wild life.  I have gotten to see many different places in the world with ski career but nothing matches the unique beauty of Western Montana.

Tashia has a cool way of showing that beauty through her inspirational paintings, a website definitly worth visiting: TashiaArt

Agnes Cecile

"Silvia Pelissero, a painter best known as Agnes Cecile, was born in Rome, Italy. She has become a successful self-taught artist known for her layered, gorgeous watercolor work. Agnes Cecile's creates rich, emotional human portraits using humble images coupled with abstract color and detail." -Source EyesOnWalls

I figured the perfect place to start is where I started.  Everything with my art career started with her works.  You have to check out her artwork on her DeviantArt gallery: Agnes Cecile

The Idea

Artists inspiring Artists is such a powerful movement in our modern social life.  Social networking is the source of so much inspiration for different artists.  Inspiration is the fuel the starts that new painting or drawing.  There are all sorts of different ways of inspiration whether it is a dream, it could be a powerful event in the world or in an individuals life, or just something someone saw online.  With the growing of social media and the Internet, comes the growing of these inspirations.  I started 3 years ago when I was searching for a new background for my Apple iPhone 4 and found some amazing Works by Agnes Cecil, who inspires many people with her amazing work, but her work is the only reason I decided to try out watercolor.  That is the story of my first piece "An Inspiration".

The Idea of creating this blog is to link up this website with the Social Media World of Inspiration, and to give other Artists that fuel to create their next or first piece.  I will be showing you some of my favorite pieces I've created along with my favorite pieces done by other artists.
